High Country Weekend
After my busy week in Tasmania P and I decided to pack the car for a weekend at P’s parent’s house in Jamaison, Victoria. I always love visiting Jamaison because something in the air there makes me feel alive and nurtured. I think perhaps this is due to the town having so few people, but being surrounded by mountains and trees and birds. It is also an old gold mining town stuffed with rickety old cottages, dogs on porches and layers of history, causing me to daydream about the people who have resided there over the years and wonder if they ever stared up at the same patch of trees as me. Here are some photos that walks around the area yielded.
